Our Mission Statement

Acts 20:35  In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said,  "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

Powder coating is an environmentally friendly process unlike solvent-based wet paint systems.  Liquid paints often contain solvents, which can contribute to air pollution and, in some cases, ozone depletion.  Powder used for powder coating does not contain any solvents and releases negligible amounts of VOCs into the atmosphere, resulting in no air pollution.  The transfer efficiency of modern powder coating processes results in significantly less overspray and the material that doesn't adhere to the part can be easily captured in filters and simply vacuumed/swept up and disposed of with, like any other household waste.  Furthermore, many wet painting processes generate significant volumes of semi-solid waste sludge which must be disposed of in hazardous waste landfills.  Modern powder coating materials generate no such hazardous waste.

Protec Powder Coating is owned and operated by Tony, Gina and TJ Ellis.  Our shop manager is Jake Davis (Gina's brother).  Currently we employ 4 full-time employees year round.  Like many small businesses we started in our shop in the backyard.  To date, we have been blessed to be able to be in our industrial location.  We are successful because of our dedication to our customers needs and expectations.  Our formed alliance with Benise Dowling Powder Coating continues to be prosperous for both companies.
